I come from a culturally rich and busy land of India and have been in the United States since 2011.
After my initial education in India for bachelors in physiotherapy, I went on to accomplish Master’s in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh.
Throughout my 10 year career I have enjoyed working and gaining experience in various types of orthopedic, neurological , pre and post operative conditions in adults and senior population. Besides providing traditional therapy, I have experience in Aquatic physical therapy to treat myriad of conditions.
Achieving advanced training in modalities like Graston technique , Rock tape, Integrative dry needling(IDN) has helped me serve my patients to my highest capacity.
I gained training in Postpartum rehabilitation from Herman and Wallace Institute to help my Moms with the best knowledge thats out there. And I strive to continue gaining more knowledge and skills to serve my patients and clients.
I enjoy working with people of all gender, age, size and a diverse of sense of humor, but at the core - moms are my people! ;)
I am a big believer of mindset oriented recovery and rehabilitation along with the hands on modalities and custom exercises for each individual needs.
As they say-
If you believe you can do it, you are right, if you believe you can’t do it, you are right! Mindset is everything.
Lastly, if you made it this far, I live with my husband and a 2 year old girl, we are throughly enjoying these toddler years. Wait, are we?!
She’s a sunshine and a thunderstorm(toddlers! right!), she loves the outdoors as much as we do and so far she has proved to be a trooper when we take her hiking and camping. She loves doing yoga with me and more often these days, lets me complete my workouts and yoga. These days, I am learning to lift weights to age healthily with strong bones and strong heart.
Send me a message; I will be back to you as soon as possible.
